Ribbon
The ribbon is comprised of two main groups:
- Report List: Allows the creation, editing and management of reports, the exporting of report data to a file or as an email attachment, the creation of service job to export the report data on a recurring schedule, and the ability to import and export report definitions.
- View: Filters the reports displayed in the Report List, allows suspension of updates to the view to allow faster navigation when managing reports, and allows the Report List and Report View to be refreshed to display new data.
Note: If a specific ribbon button does not appear, then the permissions required to execute that operation have not been granted to the current user.
Additionally, when editing reports, the following ribbon groups display, as appropriate:
- Related Reports: Appears when editing reports and the selected tab in the Report Wizard is Reports and the report has already been joined to another report. Allows viewing, editing and deleting related reports.
- Columns: Appears when editing reports and the selected tab in the Report Wizard is Columns. Allows adding, removing, and reordering of columns in the report.
- Relationships: Appears when editing reports and the selected tab in the Report Wizard is Relationships. Allows adding, editing and removal of relationship to other reports.
- Filter: Appears when editing reports and the selected tab in the Report Wizard is Filter. Allows clearing of the filter.
