Schedule Tab
The Schedule tab allows you to specify one or more schedules to automatically execute a search on the endpoints to which the policy is applied. This tab only displays when creating a Scheduled Task policy.
The Schedule tab displays the following columns:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Name | The name that the scheduled task was given when it was created. |
Schedule | This specifies how often, and when specifically, the Scheduled Task should recur. |
Boundaries | Shows the first date and time the task runs and, if configured, the final date and time the task runs. The time displays in a 24 hour format. So if you are in the Eastern Time Zone in the United States and create a scheduled task to begin on December 24, 2013 at 1:00 PM, it displays as 2013-12-24 13:00-05:00. 13:00 indicates the start time of 1:00 PM and -04:00 indicates the offset from GMT of your time zone. If you selected ‘Synchronize across time zones’, it displays as 2013-12-24 13:00Z, where the ‘Z’ indicates Zulu. |
For information on creating a scheduled Task, refer to the Scheduled Tasks article.
