Schedule Tab

The Schedule tab allows you to specify one or more schedules to automatically execute a search on the endpoints to which the policy is applied. This tab only displays when creating a Scheduled Task policy.

The Schedule tab displays the following columns:

Field Description
Name The name that the scheduled task was given when it was created.
Schedule This specifies how often, and when specifically, the Scheduled Task should recur.
Boundaries Shows the first date and time the task runs and, if configured, the final date and time the task runs. The time displays in a 24 hour format. So if you are in the Eastern Time Zone in the United States and create a scheduled task to begin on December 24, 2013 at 1:00 PM, it displays as 2013-12-24 13:00-05:00. 13:00 indicates the start time of 1:00 PM and -04:00 indicates the offset from GMT of your time zone. If you selected ‘Synchronize across time zones’, it displays as 2013-12-24 13:00Z, where the ‘Z’ indicates Zulu.

For information on creating a scheduled Task, refer to the Scheduled Tasks article.
