Drag & Drop Operations

The Endpoint List can be organized using drag and drop by clicking on a tag or endpoint icon, holding down the left mouse button and dragging the icon onto another tag icon.

To add an endpoint to a tag, click and hold on an endpoint icon and then drag onto an expanded tag until you see Drop into <tagname>, and then release the mouse button. The endpoint will be moved from the source tag to the destination tag. The exception to this rule is when the endpoint was selected within the All Endpoints tag. Endpoints cannot be removed from All Endpoints so the endpoint will be added to the destination tag but will not be removed from All Endpoints.

To add a tag as a nested tag of another tag, click and hold on a tag icon and then drag onto an expanded tag until you see Drop into <tagname>, and then release the mouse button. The tag will be moved from its current location (at the root level or as a nested tag) to the destination tag.

If an attempt is made to move an endpoint or tag to an unsupported location, a red "X" will indicate that the selected operation is not supported. Releasing the mouse button will not cause the selected endpoint or tag to be moved.
