Policies

Policies provide the mechanism to configure settings and scheduled tasks for endpoints. The settings allow the customization of the user experience, the forced configuration of options, and the establishment of search criteria. Scheduled tasks provide the ability to run recurring, automated searches.

The Policies tab consists of three components:

  1. Ribbon Groups: Used to manage and organize the policies.
  2. Policy List: Displays and allows management of the list of policies, including setting policy priority.
  3. Policy View: Displays a view specific to the selected part of the policy, such as the settings, associated endpoints, search locations, or scheduled tasks.
